BRIAN JOHNSON
Associate Director

Brian is a senior advisor working with ICS clients in the NY area. Before joining ISS Corporate Solutions in August 2018, Brian spent eight years a compensation consultant with Pay Governance, working with clients to review competitive pay practices and analyze the impact of emerging trends in executive compensation. In addition, he worked with clients on a variety of corporate governance issues such as equity plan approvals and analysis of voting practices by key proxy advisors. Prior to joining Pay Governance, Brian worked as a compensation consultant at Towers Watson and at Merck & Co. as a senior financial analyst.

Brian received his B.S. in Finance at the University of Connecticut and M.B.A. at Cornell University.

Eric Schwarte
Executive Director EVA Advisory

Eric is head of the EVA Advisory practice at ICS, that advises and supports C-level executives in the study and application of the ISS EVA research and methodology, along with implementation of related EVA-enterprise software solutions. He is a trusted thought-leader on value-based management techniques. He has 13+ years of experience consulting Fortune 500, private and midcap companies, in areas such strategic planning, financial performance diagnostics, peer benchmarking, M&A analysis, and capital allocation and investment decisions.

Prior to joining ISS, he was Managing Director at EVA FIN tech EVA Dimensions, and also spent time in management consulting, business development, and research and development for IBM, Merck and Alcon Laboratories. He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and degree in mechanical engineering from University of Texas at Austin.

Nicole Bouquet
Head of Sustainability Advisory

Nicole has worked in the ESG industry for more than a decade. She has held a variety of positions across ESG data companies selling and servicing investors. She has helped many of the largest, U.S.-based investment management firms design and implement programs for integrating ESG into the investment process. Before joining ICS, she worked as an internal consultant for ISS Institutional to assist with ESG research and data sales and product development.
