LONDON (January 15, 2019) – ISS Corporate Solutions, Inc. (ICS), the leading global provider of corporate governance, executive compensation, and sustainability solutions to help companies improve shareholder value and reduce risk, today announced the appointment of Federico Pezzolato as Vice President.

Based in London, Pezzolato will lead ICS’ sales of Green Bonds and Second Party Opinions services, focusing primarily on companies in EMEA, and report to ICS Head of EMEA & Asia-Pacific, Stephen James.

ICS is authorized by ISS and ISS-oekom to market and distribute Green Bonds and Second Party Opinions services to issuers and professional advisory firms and to provide related support to such entities.

With more than 10 years’ experience in the sustainability and responsible finance fields, Pezzolato previously served with Vigeo Eiris as Sustainability Bond Manager for Southern and Eastern Europe and Emerging Markets. In this role, he advised global organizations on understanding their sustainability commitments and facilitated their entry into the green and social bond market. Pezzolato stewarded engagement with clients across various sectors including banks, private equity investors, utilities, automotive, telecommunications and sub sovereign entities.

Concurrent to that, Pezzolato served as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) lecturer at several institutions, including Catholic University in Milan and Université Paris Nanterre. He holds a M.A. in CSR from the University of Bologna and a M.A. in International Relations from the University of Milan.
