Key Developments
Shaping the 2017 Proxy Season

This event, featuring industry leading speakers, will help prepare companies for what lies ahead this annual meeting season. In focus will be emerging trends in incentive program design, gauging board performance and trends in refreshment, and other topical issues, including those of particular relevance to companies within the IT sector.

Keynote by ISS

The session will kick off with a keynote address by Patrick McGurn, special counsel at Institutional Shareholder Services, who will detail how the elections in November will likely upend the 2017 proxy season. With new regulations and ESG-related disclosure requirements expected to be on hold for at least four years, McGurn expects that all eyes will shift to 2017 annual meetings and private ordering.
