Mark is the Head of ISS Corporate Solutions and has been with ICS since 1999. He is responsible for the overall strategy, P&L and direction of the ICS business, and manages the client-facing teams of ICS globally. Prior to this role, he was an analyst and a senior analyst with ISS’ Proxy Advisory Service joining in 1996. In that role he was responsible for producing analyses and vote recommendations regarding proxy contests, mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and equity plan proposals.
Before joining ISS, he was a research analyst at CoStar Group, Inc. He received a B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland.
Duncan serves as Managing Director and Head of North American Sales. He has over 14 years of experience in executive compensation, corporate governance, and sales management. Duncan has partnered with hundreds of professionals, from corporate management and boards to their consultants, to provide solutions that improve their governance practices in an effort to attract and retain strong investors.
Prior to joining ICS in 2002, he was the Head of Sales & Services for Phillips Business Information, Inc. (now Access Intelligence, Inc.). For 8 years, he was a top business developer ultimately managing the membership sales and client services for this leading B2B intelligence provider.
Duncan holds a BA in Political Science from Denison University in Granville, OH.
Peter is Head of Advisory and Client Services at ICS where he leads the team of governance, executive compensation, and ESG experts.
Before leading the advisory team, Peter was the head ICS advisor to compensation consultants, law firms, and other corporate advisors, along with select company clients. He joined ICS in 2012 after spending four proxy seasons with ISS’s U.S. Research division, where he led a team covering several industries. Prior to ISS, Peter worked as an attorney and an economist.
Peter is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been widely quoted in the press on compensation and governance topics.
Suken is the Principal Advisor with ISS Corporate Solutions covering all the Australasia (Ex Japan/Korea) out of Singapore. In this role, he has advised corporate issuers across the region helping them improve their corporate governance policies, practices, and overall shareholder engagement.
Prior to ISS, Suken held a host of senior leadership roles with Thomson Reuters in Singapore and New York within the asset management focused business and corporate strategy/strategic planning functions.
Suken holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and a B.A. from Rutgers University.
Stephan is an Executive Director with over 16 years of experience with ISS Corporate Solutions. For the past seven years, he has led the Corporate Governance Advisory team that focuses on issues relating to corporate governance, executive compensation, and governance ratings across the EMEA region. Prior to his current position, he held a leading business development role with ISS Corporate Solutions Americas. He is a frequent presenter and speaker at conferences in the region.
Stephan holds a B.A. in International Management with a minor in German from the University of Maryland, College Park and a M.S. in International Management from the University of Maryland University College.
Jun Frank is an Executive Director based in San Francisco, primarily serving companies on the U.S. West Coast as well as in Asia. He advises executives and board members on corporate governance, executive compensation, and shareholder engagement matters. Jun brings with him unique experience, having served in research leadership roles at two of the world’s largest proxy advisers, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass Lewis. Prior to joining ICS in 2015, Jun was a member of ISS’ Global Policy Board and headed its Asia ex-Japan research, overseeing the proxy advisory service and policy developments for the region. Prior to ISS, he served as Director of Asian Proxy Research at Glass Lewis where he managed corporate governance research on Asian companies beginning in 2005.
In 2008, he was named a "Rising Star of Corporate Governance" by the Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at the Yale School of Management.
He holds a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. with concentrations in corporate finance and investments from the University of Notre Dame.
Ted is Head of the ISS Corporate Solutions Canadian Advisory group and also serves the U.S. technology sector. He joined ISS in 1998 as a member of the Voting Services team and transitioned to the Proxy Advisory Services team where he provided analyses and vote recommendations for institutional clients on a wide range of proxy voting items relating to mergers, corporate restructurings, private placements, acquisitions, and equity compensation plan proposals. Ted has spent the last 10 years at ICS working with North American governance and executive compensation clients across all industries.
Stephen James joined ISS Corporate Solutions in 2014 as the Head of the corporate business in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Before joining ICS in London, Stephen headed the Corporate Solutions team at NASDAQ OMX for 8 years where he assisted European issuers with the execution of their investor relations programs, targeting and perception projects, messaging via newswires, and multimedia and access to governance tools for the Board of Directors. Prior to NASDAQ, Stephen performed the same role for the London Stock Exchange and has been assisting corporate issuers with investor relations and governance advisory solutions for over 15 years.
Cameron is an Associate Director within ISS Corporate Solutions' Advisory Group. Previously, Cameron spent three years providing strategic advisory services to high profile clients in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy practice. Prior to Deloitte, she spent six years in client facing and sales roles as a Product Specialist for Morgan Stanley and a leading hedge fund. Cameron has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business.
Chan joined the ISS Corporate Solutions Advisory Group in 2010. As Vice President, he leads a team of advisors serving the energy, materials, and software services industries. In his role, he works with U.S. and Canadian corporations on equity compensation plan evaluations, executive compensation issues, and corporate governance practices. Prior to joining ICS, Chan was a Senior Research Analyst within Liberty Mutual’s Personal Markets Research team in Boston, MA covering competitive intelligence and insurance research while also coordinating Liberty Mutual’s flood insurance business. He received his B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and his M.B.A. from Babson College.
Mark is Vice President of Strategic Alliances, where he manages advisory firm relationships, custom data feeds, and research redistribution agreements. His primary responsibilities include assisting law firm, compensation consultant, and proxy solicitor clients.
Mark has more than a decade of capital markets experience, and began his career with Merrill Lynch in Washington D.C. Prior to joining ISS Corporate Solutions, Mark led the business development efforts at The Altman Group, working mainly with mid and large cap corporate issuers. Mark has served on the board of both Washington D.C. and Richmond, VA chapters of The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and holds a B.A. from Randolph-Macon College.
Trey joined the ISS Corporate Solutions Advisory Group in 2013. As Vice President, he leads a team of advisors serving clients in industries as diverse as bio-pharma, finance, health care, professional services, and retailing. Prior to becoming an advisor with ICS, Trey held roles in large U.S. public companies working on corporate governance and executive compensation issues. In addition, he has best-practices consulting experiences. Trey received a B.S. in Business from Auburn University.
Bruce leads a team working with public company clients in a number of industries, including the real estate, insurance, and consumer discretionary sectors. Bruce and his team provide support on the design and disclosure of a broad range of corporate governance matters such as executive compensation, equity plans, and other traditional corporate governance practices. Bruce joined ICS in 2012 and holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
